Check List
  While fishing in the Northwoods of Wisconsin you may experience several kinds of weather in one day.  Depending on fronts and wind directions.  Please use this list as a general check list on things you should not forget.  There is nothing worse than forgetting your sunglasses or sun block on a 80 degree day or leaving your hat or gloves home on a 40 degree day.

Spring and Fall Trips:

  • Sunglasses
  • Hat and gloves
  • Heavy coat or jacket
  • Rain Gear
  • Boots or water resistant shoes
  • Hand warmers
  • Food, Snacks & Beverages
  • Camera, Film & Ziplock bag to put them in, in case of inclimante weather.
Summer:
  • Sunglasses
  • Sun Block
  • Bug repellant to be applied before you leave the landing

    • (no bug repellent in the boat)
  • Rain Gear
  • Light jacket or sweatshirt
  • Food, Snacks & Beverages
  • Camera, Film & Ziplock bag to put them in, in case of inclimante weather.
  • If you intend to take your catch of walleye home with you make sure that you have a way to keep them cool for the ride home.
